The Trudoviks

Holodomor AvatarThe Trudoviks were a reformist group of peasants and intellectuals of early 20th Russia who supported a modernist agrarian program for the peasantry that would fully integrate them into capitalist Russia. Their agrarian program followed the demands of the peasantry for ownership of all land though they did not seek to overthrow the government only the agrarian system. Thus, the movement represented an attempt to cleanse Russian society from all traces of feudalism, and to ensure all peasants capitalistic freedoms.
